Peter Foot was born in Faversham, Kent in 1932 and educated at Notre Dame Convent School. At the age of seventeen he joined the Royal Marines and served for eight years, seeing active service in Malaya, Cyprus and Suez. After leaving the Royal Marines he entered Her Majesty'’s Prison Service and for the next thirty-three years served at six Prison Establishments from Borstal in Kent to Kingston Prison, Portsmouth. He retired in 1990 as a Prison Governor Grade. He now lives in Spain, on the lush hill
slopes above the Orba Valley near Denia on the Costa Blanca.
His first novel, Oath of Allegiance, was published in Sep 2002 by UPFRONT Publishing. His second, Strange Alliance, was published in May 2003 and a sequel to this called, Jungle Haven, followed shortly afterward. He has since gone on to publish The Drums of War, Crown Assassin and the Warriors. His latest novel, The Savage Years is now on the bookshelves.
